Right from the Start. What is the Goal?
The Right From the Start Coalition seeks to create opportunities for local communities to support all families, beginning at or around the birth of a child. We know that building on the strengths of families is the most effective way to ensure healthy communities.
How Do We Reach It?
Through legislative advocacy, policy strategies, and community partnerships, the Right From the Start Coalition promotes the development of home-and community-based service systems that support all families in raising healthy resilient children.

What Can You Do?
  • Contact your county board, state legislators, and congressional representatives and let them know that you expect them to vote for legislation that supports and strengthens families with children.
  • Talk to others in your community who are interested in helping families grow strong. Join or form a prevention coalition to enhance prevention services in your area.
